Pieces of Me - Pink

These 4x6 mini canvas sheet cakes were originally shown as a collective at Chad Mize's 2023 Hot Box Pride show. They are now being sold as individual pieces, so that each queer person who relates to my work can have a piece of cake. 

The words chosen are all words that I once associated with guilt, shame, and unfounded judgement. Now, I wear these words like badges of honor, reminding myself that even if I am all of these things, they only add to who I am and the love I can express.
